Last night I took an image of SY Cnc within 4 degrees
of the moon. The flat fielded image shows a general
lunpiness across it. When I flat field one day's flat
field with the latest flat field, the resulting image
is uniform to a few parts per thousand. Other flat
fielded images do not show the degree of lumpiness. I
have posted the SY CNC and HL CMA images from last
night (March 26-27) on:
http://vsnet.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Hall/8449/99mar28.htm
if you want to look at them and offer any suggestions
as to why the SY CNC image is so lumpy looking.
