   Astonishingly enough, Berto's observation on Feb. 25 was just 22 min
prior to the predicted mid-eclipse.  It may be likely Berto's detection
was hindered by the eclipse, say, the size of the exploding shell may have
been still mostly within the secondary's size.  If he or Patrick saw the
object 1 hour after, the situation may have been drastically changed.
