I find the magnitude summaries posted daily to 'vsnet-recent'
to be very useful, but there frequency lately (sometimes 100+/day)
has occasionally caused my mailbox to fill up (my provider limits
the number of messages to 350) if I am unable to check my mail for
as little as three days. I'd like to suggest the following.
Magnitude summaries should be updated and posted daily only
for variables that are currently showing rapid changes in brightness
(ie., outbursting D.N.). Those for other, less active variables
could be updated perhaps once a week.
What do other VSNETers think about this?
