[vsnet-chat 1602] V491 Car

V491 Car

While surveying large-maplitude new variable stars in the Hipparcos new
variable list (Name List 74), T. Watanabe-san noticed V491 Car varies
dramatically. The Hipparcos annex photometry indicates the star rapidly
and irregularly varies between mag 9 and 13. Being a good evening target
for southern observers, I wonder whether anyone has monitored this star.
