Subject: [vsnet-chat 0] Type II supernovae
To all Supernovae people;
I have been doing a supernovae search at my astronomy club with one
other member and a question I raised could not be determined by any of
the other members present the question being; does the mass of the star
in type II SN correlate with the brightness increase? Example if a star
50 solar masses went SN would a star of 100 solar masses have a greater
increase of brightness if it to went SN? Anyone who can answer these
questions i would greatly appreciate it. My name is Noah and i am a 14
year old high school student who is starting to study cataclysmic
variables in the most part dwarf novae.
