[vsnet-chat 1550] ubvri photometry list

I've placed on
  http://ftp.nofs.navy.mil/pub/outgoing/aah/photom/ubvri.cat
the latest version of my ongoing reprocessing of previous
photometry. The current list contains all photometric nights
since 1992. 356,854 stars had at least 1 BV observation,
198,610 had 2 observations (the minimum qualification for
ubvri.cat), and 49,167 stars met the remaining qualifications
of V and (B-V) unit errors less than 0.05. Most of the CV
fields from my two secondary standards papers are represented,
though the fields from the first paper tend to have few stars
due to the small field of view of the CCD I was using.
I have about 60 photometric nights from the previous decade
that still need to be processed. I have other commitments
and so won't start that effort until February at the earliest.
The current list has a number of problems, the major ones
being poor astrometry in sparse fields and poor matching in
crowded ones. I'll improve the pipeline code before continuing.
I'm learning a lot from this effort!
Arne
