Various rendezvous information, including a comet and a nova or a
supernova, is available at "Comet Rendezvous Calendar":
http://vsnet.info.waseda.ac.jp/muraoka/members/seiichi/comet/rendezvous/current.html
For example, there were some interesting rendezvous recently such as:
Dec. 11 1h(UT) C/1998 U5 and SN 1998ey (1.2 arcmin)
Dec. 17 14h(UT) 88P and C/1997 J2 (52 arcmin)
Jan. 5 14h(UT) C/1998 Y1 and 140P (13 arcmin)
Jan. 7 19h(UT) C/1998 P1 passed in front of NGC 4517
Jan. 8 21h(UT) 21P and NGC 253 (1.9 deg)
After this, there is another interesting rendezvous of comets:
Jan. 16 22h(UT) C/1998 K5 and P/1998 VS24 (6.0 arcmin)
The images of rendezvous taken by Ageo Survey team is available at:
http://vsnet.info.waseda.ac.jp/muraoka/members/seiichi/pictures/rendezvous.html
But unfortunately, we missed the rendezvous of C/1998 U5 and SN 1998ey.
Best regards,
