I've modified the tutorial on taking sequences that is found at
http://vsnet.flagstaff.az.us/~ccdir/tutorial.html
to include some suggestions and also to add an example of a
poor sequence. This tutorial will continue to be updated as
more suggestions are made.
My January observing run will take place in about two weeks.
My intent (besides my personal research) is to observe
those sequence fields on the requests.jan table, but
if anyone has a new sequence that needs to be observed, please
contact me before the start of the run. About 80 of the fields
I've observed over the past few months for VSOs are for CVs or
novalike variables, and I intend to use these fields as the
nucleus for a third PASP paper on CV sequences (probably submit
it in the Spring). The weather has gotten into what the
meteorologists call a 'La Nina' pattern: warm, pretty, sunny days
and cirrusy nights, so definitely no guarantees about sequences
this time around!
