SN 1998bu
Steve Lucas has posted an interesting article on the late-stage magnitudes
of SN 1998bu. Being considered "subluminious", the present magnitude
seems to be challenging to theorists (esp. to our colleages, Dr. Yamaoka).
Being around mag 16, the SN will provide enough chance for both CCD
and visual observers to record the present brightness. Is there any plan
of getting a fainter CCD sequence?
