It sounds a good naming (I was thinking of "vsnet-summary"). Separating
observations and summaries may be worth: nightly observations from individual
observers are the quickest for those interested in special targets, while
summaries would provide more general information how to interpret each
observation or what is important or neglected now. I like LPVs observations
(not summaries) on vsnet-obs as well as CVs.
By the way, the name "vsnet-recent" reminds me of a counterpart list
of "vsnet-future" predicting outbursts of dwarf novae... (and some bets),
providing the most wanted list, etc.
