My October observing run was pretty marginal. There were 2.5 sorta
photometric nights, enough to finish 15-20 fields from the requests.oct
list. I've posted those fields to
http://ftp.nofs.navy.mil/pub/outgoing/aah/sequence
There are a small subset of fields for which I am still working:
XY Psc, V592 Her, HL CMa, etc. These had data from the September
run or else problems (HL CMa is near Sirius, which affects the USNOA
astrometric catalog I use for matching starlists). These extra sequences
will be posted in the next few days.
The photometry for NGC1425 has a higher error than I normally accept.
For fields like these, I usually take at least one more measure, but
due to the poor weather, that third measure will have to wait until
my next run.
As I mentioned before, I will not be doing service observing again
until our next photometric season (May/June). For those requestors who
actually do something with the current posted photometry (sending sequences
to vsnet/aavso, distributing sequences to clubs, etc. and also informing
me that you have done this), I may add a few of your additional requests
to my winter runs. Bottom line: I've given up a fair amount of my
September/October observing runs to observing these fields. I now want
to see some results before committing any additional observing time.
