[vsnet-chat 1250] SX Cam sequence by Kukarkin

George Comello asked about comp stars for SX Cam, citing an old Sternberg
"Trudy" volume where a chart is published. We have these in the Lowell
library, so I was able to get positions and IDs for stars in the field. The
list is shown below along with the photographic-blue and -visual data for the
comp stars. For two brighter stars there is Tycho photometry, which indicates
the old data is consistent with Johnson B and V to within 0.1 mag. Comp star
'b' is inexplicably not marked on Kukarkin's chart. The only sufficiently
blue star in the Tycho catalogue within 30' is the candidate shown, but this
must be considered a tentative identification.
As Kato-san intimated, SX Cam is not the same as a nearby S star, CSS 90 =
IRAS 04211+6812, which lies about 15' east, and which is not yet known to vary.
