Dear Mr. Kato,
In the spring I dowloaded all the H/T charts (HIPGIF and HIPGIF2) from the
VSNET.
I thougth these chart were made using the Hipparchos and Tycho catalgues,
but the sequences show large differences compared with the
VT mags or Hp mags. from the Guide6.
It seems these sequences were made with the original GSC magnitudes that
have large scatter. Am I right?
For instance at the BZ And the closest 9th mag star were listed as 8.73
both in the VSNET H/T chart and the GSC, but 8.931 in the Tycho... (Similar
case with the T Lyr...) Now I understand why I had so bad sequence for the
T Lyr and some other variables. Changed the sequences to VT sequ the
situation is much better!
For the future I am afraid I shall use very careful those charts, and I
shall prefer the VT mags. from the Guide6 and rewrite my sequences...
Regards,
Robert Fidrich
