I examined NGC 4704 on the relevant POSS-II J film, and find the type
to be SB(s)bc I in the revised deVaucouleurs system. It is an asymmetric
three-armed spiral (fairly unusual), with a small companion, probably related,
on the southwest side.
Besides the positions for the galaxy that Kato-san gives, there is
also:
12 48 46.42 +41 55 15.9 Becker et al. 1995 ApJ 450, 599
12 48 46.51 +41 55 15.6 GSC v1.2 (not 1.1)
12 48 46.44 +41 55 16.1 USNO-A1.0
The Becker et al. position is the one adopted by the NED database. Note that
the precise position given in SIMBAD is some -2' in error in Dec.
