[vsnet-chat 524] UZ Boo - no outburst

A visual check this evening shows that UZ Bootis is not in outburst as reported
by some observers. It was not visible to a magnitude of 14.4V. This is my
favorite variable star, having been one of the first I helped to chart. We had
two locations from different references in the literature. I went to Harvard
Observatory and looked up the discoverey plate. It was still marked with crude
ink arrows indicating the variable. I have since seen it bright on at least
two occasions and have a good photo of it at maximu.
