Dear CV Researchers,

As some of you have heard at the Jackson Hole meeting, we are
planning to hold a workshop on magnetic cataclysmic variables.

The probable venue is St. John's College in Annapolis, Maryland,
near Washington DC and Baltimore.  As for the dates, the leading
candidates are
	1998 July 20-24 and
	1998 July 13-17.
Some of the details are being worked out; we would like to ask you
a few questions so that we get the right size venue, for example.

Please reply to mukai@milkyway.gsfc.nasa.gov if you are interested
in attending the workshop; feel free to forward this messages to those
who did not receive this directly, or to consolidate your replies
by multiple individuals (including graduate students) at your institution.
I will attempt to send this to all participants of Cape MCV workshop,
although I expect to find many addresses no longer to work; and
to all participants of the Jackson Hole meeting.  Hopefully, this will
reach most people who would be interested.

Questionnaire:

(1) Are you interested in attending an MCV workshop?
	(Please assume that presentations will be limited to those on MCVs)
(2) Can you attend if it is held on 1998 July 20-24?  How about
	1998 July 13-17?  If no, do you have a preferred time period?
(3) If you do attend, would you prefer to stay in a dormitory room or a hotel
	room?
(4) Do you likely to need financial assistance from us (the organizers)
	to attend such a meeting?
