Nikolai Samus kindly points out that the 73rd name-list of variable
stars does indeed have the correct position for the dwarf nova AX Cap, and
was not in error as I mentioned previously. My apologies.
Gerard Jasniewicz has modified the SIMBAD entry to show the correct
position.
I note also that the maximum magnitude given in the 73rd name-list
(18.3), is from the observation by Howell et al. 1995, ApJ 439, 337, and
again not in error as I mentioned. The brighter outburst was found on the
Schmidt discovery films, and was reported on IBVS 4074.
