Hi,
with regard to the visual observations of N Sco 97 during the last
'days': is the nova actually rebrightening after a short and fast
fade or is this just another dreadful consequence of the erroneous
nature of GSC sequences.
Note the discrepancy between the HIC star at 11.2 wrt the GSC
stars at 10.3, 10.8 and 11.5. Visually the 10.8 star looks brighter
than the 10.3, and about 1.5 magnitude brighter than the 11.5 star!
Just wondering....
Regards,
Berto Monard
