Rudolf,
I wouldn't use the GSC for magnitudes unless no other information is
available, and for U Gem there certainly is!
I didn't find any U Gem charts on the AAVSO's Web site, but they have
always been great about faxing me copies in a hurry.
I can't reach the VSNET Web site at the moment, but they have a large
collection of charts you can download.
Make careful note of your comparison stars, and be prepared to
revise your estimates when you do get a standard chart.
