It's very interesting since RX J0513.9-6951 is known to show semiregular
transition between 'high' and 'low' states. The Harvard study probably
already detected this variability. Quite interesting is that the object
emits soft X-rays predominantly during its optical 'low' state.

This star was described in this SSXS catalog to show 1-mag outburst.

Thank you for your correction. This nova is Nova Cyg 1992, the brightest
nova since 1975 in the northern hemisphere.
