Same subject as my last message but I add some words.
Purkinje effect was appeared frequently in guide books for visual observation of
variable stars without any reference.
Someday one Japanese variable star observer asked me, "Do you know what is
original literature about Purkinje effect?".
I answered "I think Purkinje is name of scientist but I don't know well."
If one of participant of Vsnet know about this subject, please teach me.
I think that Purkinje effects is important especially foe urban observers
because sometimes P effect make large error in eye estimated magnitude under
urban sky..
And we need to know about this effect much more.
