Kato-san's A2.0-based sequence for the supernova behind the LMC (1999J)
reveals the serious problems the catalogue has in this extremely crowded
region. Notice the large number of stars with magnitudes of 25 and fainter.
These result from various processing errors in the data resulting from the
crowding of the star images, and should not be taken at face value. The
supernova is within about 15' of Walker's two sequences for the famous SN1987A.
Listed below are _uncrowded_ stars from the sequence. These may be used
directly, or to perhaps recalibrate the USNO magnitudes locally to set the
zero-point for accurately.
