This was my own precaution not to use USNO-based magnitudes. I have
now explicitly asked the JVSA to more regularly update their charts.

Probably no. We have not received observations from this person,
nor being contacted. This person is most likely a "pure AAVSO" observer
using the AAVSO materials.
