Dear colleagues, Hindered by clouds, our observation of V1141 Aql at Hida observatory was stopped about 4 hours after its start. However, fully developed superhumps with an amplitude of ~0.35 mag are clearly seen in our data, which proves the current outburst to be a superoutburst! Between two possibilities of the superhump period, ~85 min and ~90min, suggested by Olech (2003), our data may favor the latter possibility. But our coverage is not sufficient to make a conclusion. Follow-up observations of this poorly studied SU UMa star are encouraged during this superoutburst of the best season! Best regards, Daisaku Nogami
