WZ Sge superhumps: period update Dear Colleagues, G. Masi has kindly sent high-quality data. The analysis of the Aug. 5 data set (Brian Martin, Kyoto, Masi, 4632 points and still growing), we have refined the superhump period as 0.058884 +/- 0.000027 d. What a surprize, if this period is the true superhump period of WZ Sge! Everything based on the superhump excess and mass-ratio determination of WZ Sge and related systems (e.g. Patterson 1998, PASP 110, 1132) may need to be reconsidered, or even thrown away!
