[vsnet-campaign 1038] WZ Sge: observations July 25.07 - 25.28

We made measurements of WZ Sge from July 25.07 to 25.28 at the
RIT Observatory, using a 10-inch telescope, V filter, and SBIG ST-8 CCD
camera. A full description of the data, together with a finding
chart and some graphs, can be found at:

     http://spiff.rit.edu/richmond/ritobs/jul25_2001/jul25_2001.html

We used the nearby bright star GSC 1612.1830 = HD 191083 as a comparison,
and calculated the differential V-band magnitude of WZ Sge relative to it
(actually, relative to a network of 71 other stars, but GSC 1612.1830
dominated the solution). We used another bright star, HD 351517, as a
check, discarding images in which the check star deviated greatly from its
mean differential magnitude. You can download the data from the
URL above, or directly from

These data may fill a short gap in the VSNET coverage. If you use
these data in your analysis, please contact us to let us know.
We plan to gather another run of measurements tonight, from roughly
July 27.1 - 27.3 UT.
