VSNET Weekly Campaign Summary

*** Last week news ***

(new targets)
  WX Cet (RA = 01h17m04s.17, Dec = -17d56'23".0)

As reported by S. Kerr, WX Cet is in outburst of 11.8mag since
June 30. The last outburst occurred in 1998 November
(vsnet-campaign 987). The Kyoto team confirmed the outburst on
July 1 (vsnet-campaign-dn 958), and detected a hints of smooth
modulations with an amplitude with 0.1-0.2 mag (vsnet-campaign-dn 961).

  V893 Sco (RA = 16h14m45.26s, Dec = -28d39m30.3s)

As reported by R. Stubbings and P. Williams, the eclipsing dwarf
nova V893 Sco experienced an outburst of 12.7mag on June 27
(vsnet-campaign-dn 947). The bright state lasted for two nights
(vsnet-campaign 986), and then seems to be terminated on June 30
  (vsnet-campaign-dn 959).

(continuous targets)
  V1178 Sco (RA = 17h57m06s.92, Dec = -32d23'05".0)

    W. Liller reported V-magnitudes of this nova of 11.35-11.36mag
  on June 24 (vsnet-campaign-nova 368), 12.22-12.33 on June 26
  (vsnet-campaign-nova 371, 378), and 11.70-11.85 on June 27, which
imply the presence of short-term variation. S. Kiyota also
  reported Ic=10.42 and V=12.25 (vsnet-campaign-nova 370). K. Kadota
provides accurate astrometry (vsnet-campaign-nova 379). The object
is now on the gradual fading trend, and the current magnitude is
  about 12.2mag (vsnet-campaign-nova 369, 372, 374, 381).

  RS Oph (RA = 17h50m13s.56, Dec = -06d42'30".6)

The bright state continues (vsnet-campaign-nova 380).

  SW UMa (RA = 08h36m42s.80, Dec = +53d28'38".2)

The superoutburst continued until June 29 when rapid fading
  from 10.6mag to 11.5mag was reported (vsnet-campaign-dn 934, 940,
  952, 955).

  VW CrB (RA = 16h00m03s.76, Dec = +33d11'14".4)

The superoutbust continues, and the current magnitude is about
  15mag (vsnet-campaign-dn 936, 941, 948, 954). The Kyoto team
performed time-series photometry on June 26, and detected a
superhump with an amplitude of 0.3mag (vsnet-campaign-dn 943).
They furthermore reported the object is gradually declining with
  ~0.1mag/d (vsnet-campaign-dn 960).

  GX Cas (RA = 00h49m01s.46, Dec = +56d52'44".8)

The superoutburst is still ongoing, and it is about 13.8mag now
  (vsnet-campaign-dn 935, 942, 951).

  BC UMa (RA = 11h52m15s.88, Dec = +49d14'42".0)

The faint outburst lasted unexpectedly longer (vsnet-campaign-dn
937, 939), however then showed possible rapid decline since June 27
  (vsnet-campaign-dn 949, 953).

  IY UMa (RA = 10h43m56s.87, Dec = +58d07'32".5)

The superoutburst continued at lease until June 25
  (vsnet-campaign-dn 938).

  V1548 Aql (RA = 19h07m28s.42, Dec = +11d44'45".8)

    S. Kiyota's observations indicates a brightening of this nova
(vsnet-campaign-nova 370). The object then again gradually faded
  (vsnet-campaign-nova 373), and again re-brightened on June 28
  (vsnet-campaign-nova 376). The current magnitude is 13.3mag
  (vsnet-campaign-nova 382).

  AL Com (RA = 12h32m25s.90, Dec = +14d20'42".5)

The Kyoto team and Brno team reported that they performed
time-series photometry during the last week. The rebrightening
state is still continues (vsnet-campaign-dn 945).

  V445 Pup (RA = 07h37m56s.88, Dec = -25d56'59".1)

The bright state seems to be interrupted on July 1 as reported
  to be 11.2mag by B. Monard (vsnet-campaign-nova 375, 384).

  IX Dra (RA = 18h12m32s.2, Dec = +67d04'41")

An outburst of 15.5mag was reported by M. Reszelski on June 25
  (vsnet-campaign-dn 950).

  CR Boo (RA = 13h48m55s.42, Dec = +07d57'30".3)

The recent activity is summarized in [vsnet-campaign-dn 956].

  V446 Her (RA = 18h57m21s.51, Dec = +13d14'27".3)

    D. Nogami reported that E. Pablenko noticed him that the object
is in intermediate brightness at mag~15.9 on July 1, which means
that V446 Her is now ascending or descending (vsnet-campaign-dn 957,
  vsnet-campaign-nova 383, vsnet-campaign 988).
