[vsnet-campaign 916] AL Com early superhump update

AL Com early superhump update

Dear Colleagues,

Preliminary analysis of the combined dataset of May 19 and 20 observations
has yield the refined period of early superhumps as 0.0568 d, which is
again extremely close to the orbital period of this system. The hump profile
seems to have become slightly irregular on May 20. More detailed analysis
is ongoing, and will be later informed by Ishioka-san et al.

Please report your observations to Ishioka-san
(ishioka@kusastro.kykto-u.ac.jp) or to vsnet-campaign-data so that we can
make a more detailed assessment on the present superoutburst of AL Com,
which is very likely to be evolving rapidly.

Regards,
Taichi Kato
on behalf of the VSNET Collaboration team
