BR Lup superoutburst The SU UMa-type dwarf nova BR Lup is undergoing a superoutburst. The object has now attained the peak brightness. Since the present superoutburst is very favorably situated, long time-series observations are wanted to precisely determine the superhump period and its variation. The last likely superoutburst was observed in 2000 December, but was insufficiently followed because of the poor seasonal condition. YYYYMMDD(UT) mag observer 20010425.501 <146 (R.
