[vsnet-campaign 699] V344 Ori astrometry

V344 Ori astrometry

   H. Yamaoka (Kyushu Univ.) reports the following astrometry of the
outbursting V344 Ori using the Kyoto image.

   6h15m18s.92, +15o30'59".7 (J2000.0)

   (25 GSC-ACT stars, resuduals 0.2-0.3 arcsec)

   The position agrees with that in DWS97.  Yamaoka also suggests the
quiescent identification in USNO A2.0:

USNO_A2.0 1050-03226705  6:15:18.962 +15:30:59.98  r=17.8 b=18.4
