The 1999 December outburst looks like a superoutburst; time-resolved photometry during long, bright outburst is encouraged. Possible VSNET campaign target star. [vsnet-campaugn 391] Further brightening has been observed, reaching the brightest level in the past. The object is at mag 18 in quiescence, so the present outburst has a chance of a superoutburst (or a large-amplitude SS Cyg star). Time-resolved photometry is strongly needed to clarify its nature.
