V452 Cas outburst The SU UMa-type dwarf nova V452 Cas is undergoing an outburst. The brightness may indicate that the present outburst can be a superoutburst. The last superoutburst of V452 Cas was observed in 1999 November. Since the present outburst is very favorably located in the sky, we select this outburst as a VSNET campaign target. Extreme care should be taken in identification because this star has a very close companion, which is brighter than the variable itself. YYYYMMDD(UT) mag observer 20000904.908 <150 (M.
