[vsnet-campaign 431] V550 Cyg outburst

V550 Cyg outburst

   As reported by Timo Kunninen, the poorly studied dwarf nova V550 Cyg
is undergoing an outburst.

  20000819.870   148  (T. Kinnunen)
  20000819.912   148  (T. Kinnunen)

   This is the first reported outburst to VSNET.  Although past observations
were rather sparse, this may suggest a rare outburst.

   We propose this star as the potential VSNET campaign target.  Time-resolved
photometry, astrometry and other observations are strongly encouraged.
