Dear colleagues,

Just now I am working on the paper on V1504 Cyg, which is based
on the old observations and present ones, have been carried
out our crimean team.
The behaviour of this star is really unusial. After the July superoutburst,
accordingly to our observations, it displayed the smoothly lenghtening
outburst interval from
6 to 9 days. The only time interval when we had not observations was
Aug 1-4, and exactly that time (see vsnet campaign 415) at least one,
or, may be, two outbursts occured.
The typical outburst interval for V1504 Cyg is *accepted* as 11d (D. Nogami
and S. Masuda, IBVS 4532), however, there is also information on another
intervals (7-19 days, see Uljanikhina and Shugarov, Astronomical
and Astrophysical Transactions, 1995, 9, 43 and references therein).
The mention of the shortest outburst interval (3days) is given by Grocker
(JAAVSO, 7,73, 1978).
The outburst that was detected by Reszelski and Poyner occured just 3 days
later
the previous one ( July, 29 )!
The mean brightness level between outbursts is also variable: from 17.5
up to 16.5 and these *unpredictable* short outbursts occured in hugher
quiescent level.
It is important to monitor the V1504 Cyg through all the superoutburst cycle
(up to the middle of October) in order to study the outbursts activity.

Elena Pavlenko,
Crimean astrophysical observatory
