[vsnet-campaign 363] QW Ser
Dear colleagues,
today I was lucky and clouds disappeared so I was able to make another
run on QW Ser. The light curve shows two superhump maxima and one
minimum. The star is 0.3mag fainter than five dayes ago. Analyzing
periods using two datasets I got the period 0.0736(3)d which is shorter
then the first reported before. Todays run shows shorter period so the
behavior seems to be clear - the period is abbreviating.
The amplitude seems to be same and the pre-hump reported by Gianluca
Masi was not detected during both runs. (Personaly I agree with T.
Kato's explanation). More precise analyzing of all datasets will be
available later. Now I think the star will fade in a few days so I would
like to ask all observers for superhump photometry.
With best regards
Rudolf
