Hi Taichi,

V803 Cen is still, as far as I can see, in its cycling state. I did a 3.5
hour run last night. (I couldn't find EC1400-0033 - there are no pointers
to the field and I have been off the telescope for a week in Auckland). But
the data on V803 looked like the normal minimum of the cycling state at
about 14.5. They were rather noisy as I replaced the dessicant and didn't
have time to get a flat field - but they show the 27 minute period still
persisting as Joe Patterson said it does. I've attached a throwawy image
for anyone interested. The visual measures in your latest post seem
consistent with the eastward shift of the peaks (and the flat troughs in
this case) by some 50 or so degrees each night.

I saw the note about the IBVS paper. This is a good piece of work and I'm
pleased to see that IBVS are taking something based entirely on visual
observations. Unfortunately you use postscript which appears to be widely
used in academic circles but not much elsewhere. Since most of the users of
VSNet are amateurs using PCs and Microsoft software would it be possible to
post such papers in plain text with .gif attachments? This makes for easier
reading. Jpg will do, but it takes more space.

Would it be possible to get hold of the original visual measures - I've
copied this note to most of the observers - as I'm still trying to sort out
the possibly changing cycling period? I have quite a bit of CCD photometry
over the 1997-2000 period which would combine nicely with the visuals.

Regards,
Stan
