[vsnet-campaign 184] CI Aql fading stopped
CI Aql fading stopped
The rapid fading trend of CI Aql has apparently (temporarily?) stopped.
Selected nightly averaged magnitudes from Kyoto observations (observers:
K. Matsumoto and M. Uemura):
mid UT V-C err N
----------------------------------
20000601.761 0.435 0.044 318 C
20000603.768 0.846 0.033 223 C
20000604.744 1.155 0.032 462 C
20000605.744 1.302 0.095 598 C
20000606.746 1.306 0.038 569 C
Smooth variation was present on the June 6 light curve, whose light
maximum closely corresponds to the binary phase 0.75. The observations
in recent night are consistent with emerging eclipse feature. Long
time-series observations at other longitudes and other binary phases
are strongly encouraged.
