[vsnet-campaign 43] BZ UMa bright outburst campaign
BZ UMa bright outburst campaign
As reported in [vsnet-outburst 2] and described in [vsnet-alert 4827],
the suspected SU UMa-type dwarf nova BZ UMa is undergoing a rare bright
outburst. No confirmed outburst has been reported since 1999 March.
Being a potential superoutburst, the present outburst is raised on the
VSNET campaign program of the VSNET collaboration team.
We strongly encourage observers to get time-resolved CCD phototometry
during this outburst. No one knows whether the present outburst quickly
fades as in 1999 March, or evolve into the first-ever superoutburst.
Please report your finding and progress of observation to vsnet-campaign.
For more details of the outburst and the importance of the object, please
refer to [vsnet-alert 4827].
Regards,
Taichi Kato
on behalf of the VSNET collaboration team
