[vsnet-campaign-xray 157] 4U 1630-47 outburst

4U 1630-47 outburst

   According to ATEL #106 (Wijnands et al.), the black-hole candidate
4U 1630-47 is reported to undergo a new X-ray outburst.  The source
was reported to be 0.3-0.4 Crab (2-12 keV) on Sep. 13.

   This object is heavily obscured in the optical region, but an IR
counterpart has been suggested.

   163400.4 -472323 (J2000.0)
