X-ray transients in M31

   According to IAUC 7798, the following X-ray transients have been
discovered during XMM-Newton observations on Jan. 5:

XMMU J004414.0+412204  00 44 14.0 +41 22 04 (error 4") supersoft
XMMU J004415.9+413058  00 44 15.9 +41 30 58 (3") highly absorbed spectrum
                                                 P=5600 s?
XMMU J004438.1+414511  00 44 38.1 +41 45 11 (4")
