Dear colleagues, We observed XTE J1118+480 last night (August 23) at Kyoto. From the data after reduction, I found the magnitude to be 16.16 +/- 0.57mag (N=38), which is comparable to that on one week ago (HJD 2451771, 16.23 +/- 0.06mag). In [vsnet-campaign-xray 41], I noticed a possible rebrightening of this object, but in conjunction with the data last night, the object seems to show no prominent rebrightening, while the current magnitude is slightly brighter than that reported by Nyrola team. From recent observations at Kyoto, the decline trend has become more gradual. The object is now faint, but still brighter than the quiescent state. Observations are encouraged. We are now having a run on this object under clear sky. Regards, Makoto Uemura on behalf of VSNET collaboration team
