[vsnet-campaign-v838mon 391] V838 Mon, recent photometry
There have been some recent reports of "brightening" of
V838 Mon. I don't see anything major here with the 1.0m. The
last datapoint was 021014 UT, with V~15.7. The nova
is of course extremely red (Ic~10.5), so unfiltered observations
will report it much brighter. There are also several close
stars that will influence aperture photometry, along
with the bright lightecho shell. You need to be
*very* careful in measuring this object!
