[vsnet-campaign-v838mon 258] V838 Mon update of CCD estimates (Clay Sherrod)

UPDATE OF PHOTOMETRIC (via CCD) ESTIMATES OF v838 Mon 02.

As reported in the complete discussion of V838 MON 02 found here in "Current
News" this suspected nova had peaked, dimmed a bit, and then fluctuated
rapidly by about 0.4 magnitude until the past when it has stabilized at near
maximum light, or about magnitude 7.7  Observations may be now posted to the
Variable Star links under "Observatory" which will be used at ASO as well as
forwarded to the American Association of Variable Star Observers.

Below is the concise list of photometric CCD estimates obtained at the
Observatory (Conway) since inception:

March 4 - 03:01:08 - 7.82
March 5 - 01:08:01 - 7.72
March 6 - 03:08:02 - 7.78

All photometric reductions are from the SBIG/STV rc236 at f/5.95 or f/3.75.

This listing will be updated periodically unless a sudden changes warrants
immediate posting.

Individual CCD images are available in jpg format from each of these dates.
