Having been following this thread about the recent unconfirmed flares, I took some time from my usual variable observation schedule to devote 20 minutes uninterupted time on this star. I watched it continuously from 10:06UT until 10:26UT at 170x using my 37cm reflector from a good site on the slopes of Mauna Kea, Hawaii. The sky was clear and unobstructed by clouds, with the star over 40deg elevation. I used the Sumner sequence comps 13.42 and 13.56 right nearby. There may have been some minor fluctuations in brightness +/-0.2 mag at most. Otherwise no dramatic activity was observed. SGRV4641 20020714.4340 13.4 LMK Mike Linnolt (LMK) Hilo, HI
