V4641 Sgr rather calm on June 30 / new data Dear Colleagues, Yasuo Sano-san (Hokkaido, Japan) reported a time-series observation on June 30. The data show that the object was rather calm on this night. The present unusually active state must have started very recently (around July 5?). We have also received images from Torii-san (July 7). We are going to analyze these data which must have recorded the most important phase of the present flaring activity! The Kyoto observation on July 7 also recorded 0.8 mag flare, which confirms the finding by Santallo. We have also received a report of successful observation by Tanabe-san. Intensive observations are most urgently requested to all observers who can reach this declination!! Regards, Taichi Kato VSNET Collaboration team
