V4641 Sgr recent short-term variation Dear Colleagues, We have received new data from Tanabe-san (2 nights). We are also analyzing the Kyoto data up to last night. Preliminary analysis of the June 5 data revealed the presence of short-term small flare-like brightenings with amplitudes of ~0.1 mag and recurrence times of 0.01-0.02 d. On June 6 the variation looks less evident. In conjunction with the visual detection of activity by Rod Stubbings, the source is most likely still active, although the mean magnitude has slightly faded. Further observations are strongly encouraged. Regards, Taichi Kato VSNET Collaboration team
