[vsnet-campaign-v4641sgr 44] V4641 Sgr Kyoto observation May 24
V4641 Sgr Kyoto observation May 24
Dear Colleagues,
We have started analyzing the Kyoto observation last night (observer:
R. Ishioka). We have also received a huge set of images from Tanabe-san
(Okayama U. Sci.) taken on May 23. They are also being analyzed.
A quick look at later segment of the Kyoto data revealed a rather
monotonous fading (with short-term variations) by 0.7 mag between 24.66
and 24.70 UT. This variation may be indicative of a declining branch
toward an expected "eclipse" around 24.9 UT (see [vsnet-campaign-v4641sgr 20]).
Further analysis is keenly in progress.
