The correct name of the supernova

   The correct name (in VSNET reporting) of this supernova is

                          SN2002ap

   and not SN2002AP (nor Sn2002AP nor sn2002AP ..)

   Please consistently use this name in reporting.  I wonder who invented
an erroneous convention of writing supernova names in all upper case
letters.
