Dear SN watchers,

># is hosted by the UGC 9391, in which the expected maximum of typical

The spectrum taken by I. Newton telecsope on Apr. 24.06 UT revealed
that it is of type Ia (!) about 2 weeks before maximum. The recent
magnitudes reported to VSNET may indicate further brightening to mag
15.3 on Apr. 24.1.

Sincerely Yours,
Hitoshi Yamaoka, Kyushu Univ., Japan
