Subject: 2002he observations desired
2 November 2002
I have 2 nights images of SN 2002he (in UGC 4322 - IAUC 8002 and 8004).
One night was photometric and I will be able to get BVR magnitudes
for SN and stars within 5x5 arcmin field around SN.
This SN should peak in next day or two (according to spectra - see
IUAC 8004). This SN is of particular interest because it may be
a sub-luminous Ia, and it would be very nice to pin down peak
magnitude.
I am at 90 inch telescope on Kitt Peak, but tonight is my last night.
If anyone is observing this SN, and might want to collaborate by
sending me some images taken over next week or so (preferably in a V
filter), send me email at wjr@nhn.ou.edu
Even images through clouds would be potentially useful, as I have
field stars to calibrate.
Thanx
